Fr. Bob came to St. Thomas’ in December of 2007 and was named Vicar in March of 2008. Prior to that he served as Curate at Trinity Parish in Bergen Point (Episcopal) and Executive Director of Trinity’s Windmill Alliance, an outreach ministry for the developmentally disabled and underserved in Hudson County. He received his M.Div from General Theological Seminary in Manhattan, and MBA from Anderson University, and a BA from Capital University. Fr. Bob’s prior career was in Information Management, where his last position prior to seminary was as a research director for Gartner, the IT advisory firm.

David Christensen, Music Director |

David, an accomplished organist, is currently a Postulant in the Diocese of Newark and has spent much time working with the Diocese in all aspects of liturgical growth. He has attended the Diocese of Newark School for Deacons Received, and completed one of three Deacon internships. In the past, while working at many churches on the weekends, David has also taught music to children in grades K-6. His current position, besides being St. Thomas' Music Director, is as a limo driver during the week, and he hopes to open his own limo service soon. He enjoys flying airplanes, and spends much time using the simulator as he gets ready to further his passions in the air. He has 4 daughters and 1 son, ranging in age from 33 to 12. And one of his greatest accomplishments, besides raising his children, is reading the bible cover to cover. |
