Most of the work of the Altar Guild centers on preparing the sanctuary, the area of worship: setting the table for the Eucharist and
caring for vestments, linens and all the other items used for Eucharist. It also includes the flowers arranging and baking of our Eucharistic bread. It is usually a quiet and "behind the scenes" ministry.
Our ministry takes place in the Sacristy of the church, the anteroom behind the altar. It also takes place in our kitchens and our gardens and our sewing rooms. Most of all it takes place in our hearts and hands and in our fellowship.
We welcome new members, men and women, young and young at heart.
